Job vacancies at Anglia Revenue & Benefits Partnership

Benefits Assistant

37 Hours per Week
Fixed Term contract until 31st March 2016
Salary £15,085 to £17,379 per annum
(Employees may be called upon to work in any office of the Anglia Revenues Partnership)

The Anglia Revenues Partnership is a partnership between Breckland Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council, Fenland District Council; Forest Heath District Council, St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Suffolk Coastal District Council and Waveney District Council. The partnership is responsible for the delivery of Revenues and Benefits services for the seven Authorities.

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed is available. You would be working in a busy team assisting customers in the completion of Benefit application forms, requesting information, scanning and indexing supporting evidence and preparing claims for assessment. Ideally with a basic knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax support schemes, you must be a team player with the ability to be flexible. Excellent communication skills and accurate keyboard skills are essential, as is the ability to talk and type at the same time.
