What is onesuffolk?

onesuffolklogoonesuffolk is a pioneering website that was set up through a partnership between county, district and borough councils and the police and launched in 2004. The site, which was funded by a government grant, was originally set up to allow the partners to publish information from all over Suffolk in one place and so removing the need for people to know which organisation does what and where.

Councillor Cliff Cocker presents award to Liz Newman of the Rochford Trustonesuffolk also hosts over 200 community websites, enabling parish councils, community and voluntary organisations to have their own free websites. In October each year, onesuffolk holds an awards ceremony to put the spotlight on Suffolk's top community-based websites. Winners at the 2007 awards included Grundisburgh and Culpho Parish Council and the Rochford Trust. The awards were presented by Councillor Cliff Cocker, Chairman of Suffolk Coastal District Council.
