Bus and travel passes

Suffolk Coastal offers a range of travel concessions for people aged 60 or over and for people with disabilities. These include free bus passes, subsidised railcards and travel vouchers. Please follow the links below to find out more information and how to apply.

What types of travel passes are available?

Bus, train and taxi cartoonsNational bus pass - allows free travel on bus services for older people and people with disabilities.

Senior Railcard - entitles the holder to one third reduction on most rail fares and is available to Suffolk Coastal residents at a subsidised cost of £18.

Disabled Persons Railcard - entitles the holder to buy discounted rail tickets and allows another adult to travel at the same discounted fare. Available to Suffolk Coastal residents at a subsidised cost of £13.50.

Travel voucher scheme - vouchers up to the value of £40 for people with severe physical disability to use towards travel with participating community transport or taxi operators.
