National bus pass

Free travel bus pass Changes to the bus pass from 1 April 2011

Bus passes and travel vouchers are now administered and issued by Suffolk County Council and not Suffolk Coastal.

How does this affect me?

If you already hold a bus pass you should have received a letter explaining how the changes will affect the use of the pass and letting you know what you need to do.

If you have not had a bus pass before and believe you are entitled to one please contact the information line on 0845 600 0659 or pick up an application form from libraries and main Suffolk County Council offices.

Travel voucher scheme

If you are unable to travel by conventional public transport, through location or severe mobility impairment, you may be eligible to receive travel vouchers to assist with the cost of taxis or community transport services. For full details, and to discuss your potential eligibility, please contact the information line on 0845 600 0659.
