Senior Railcard

Senior Railcard A Senior Railcard allows the holder a one third reduction on most rail fares and can be used anywhere in the country. The cost of a Senior Railcard from Suffolk Coastal under our concessionary travel scheme is £21.

Am I eligible for a railcard from Suffolk Coastal?

To be eligible you must reside permanently in the Suffolk Coastal district and be aged 60 or over.

How do I apply?

To apply for a Senior Railcard from us you have to complete the National Rail application form below and provide us with proof of your age - your driving licence, passport or birth certificate for example (photocopies are acceptable). You can print off the application form by following link below:

Alternatively, we will send you the form if you contact us on 01394 383789 or email customerservices@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk with your name and address.

You should complete and sign the application form and send it with a cheque or postal order for £21, made payable to Suffolk Coastal District Council, and proof of your age (photocopy acceptable) to the address below. Please note that we do not accept cash payments.
