Cedarwood Green basketball court and football pitch will
celebrate its first birthday in style on Wednesday, August 13 with
a free day of fun and activities for all ages.
There will be lots to see and do on the day, from entering into
the football and basketball competitions, to having a skate on
Suffolk Coastal’s mobile skatepark. There will be dancemats, a BBQ
and live music, plus Kesgrave Radio will also be broadcasting live
from the event.
Cllr Mary Neale, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Countryside
said: “This event is part of an extensive programme of summer
activities in the district and will be a fitting first birthday
celebration for what has become a valuable and much used community
facility in Kesgrave. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun –
there will be plenty of activities for all ages.”
The event, which has been organised by Suffolk Coastal’s Active
Communities team and Kesgrave Town Council, will start at 11am and
finish around 6pm. All activities are
free.
