Suffolk Coastal welcomes film-makers. We are keen to ensure your
shoot runs as smoothly as possible and can support a broad range of
filming requests, including permissions, from short films,
commercials, TV dramas, feature films and photo shoots.
Finding locations
We work closely with Film Link, the screen agency for the East
of England offering locations services to film-makers. Film Link
promotes the region to the filming industry and handles the bulk of
location enquiries from productions interested in filming in the
area.
Film Link’s location library has over 7,000 locations ranging
from farms to courthouses, pubs to schools and council estates and
flats to country houses. Film Link also has an extensive database
of crew based in the East of England as well as facility companies.

Film companies pay to use locations - fees can range from
several hundred to several thousand pounds a day depending upon the
production and what they would like to do. Supporting a film crew
