Suffolk Coastal's Food Service Plan

Suffolk Coastal produces a service plan every year, detailing the aims and objectives of the food safety service and how it is run.

The service plan is produced in a format prescribed by the Food Standards Agency. It is reviewed annually to identify the Council's performance against it, any variance from it and areas for improvement in the service.

For 2011/12 a joint plan has been produced in partnership with Waveney District Council covering both food and health and safety. You can view the draft of the plan and appendices by following the links below:

The draft plan will be considered by Suffolk Coastal councillors at the following meetings:

Scrutiny Committee - 20 October 2011
Cabinet - 1 November 2011
Full Council - 24 November 2011

Waveney District Council has separate arrangements to consider the plan.

The plan may be varied at each stage.

If you have any questions, feedback or other comments on this plan please call the Food and Safety Team on 01394 444357 or email foodsafetyteam@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk.
