Suffolk Coastal produces a service plan each year, detailing the
aims and objectives of the health and safety service and how it is
run.
The service plan is produced as required by the Health and
Safety Executive as set out in the Section 18 Standard. It is
reviewed annually to identify the Council's performance against it,
any variance from it and areas for improvement in the service.
For 2011/12 a joint plan has been produced in partnership with
Waveney District Council covering both food and health and safety.
