Trade waste, refuse and recycling

Trade waste containersSuffolk Coastal Services Ltd (SCS), the Council's waste and recycling partner, offer a complete waste and recycling service to cover all of your needs effectively. Their wide range of recycling options can help your business to help the environment and may also save you money. Flexible collection options and bin sizes will meet the needs of your business, however large or small.

The service ranges from skips (including rear end loaders where required), through to wheeled bins in a range of 6 sizes, from the traditional 1100 litre trade wheeled bin, down to bins as small as those used by domestic residents. Collection frequency is arranged to suit the needs of your business.

SCS offer a comprehensive range of recycling options for your waste, including, if required, separate collection of glass, paper, cardboard and compostable waste. Collections of paper, plastics, cardboard and tins can be made from a single wheeled bin. This waste is then separated after collection at a materials recovery facility.

The wheeled bin and rear-end loader skip services operate on scheduled weekly rounds, so you always know what day your waste will be collected. Collections can be more or less frequent than once a week, to suit your business needs. Being locally based means SCS can respond quickly and flexibly to any unexpected needs your business may have.

SCS provide full duty of care administration and ensure that the service they provide you with complies with all relevant legislation. They hold a current waste carrier registration and their staff hold relevant waste and environmental qualifications. Their management and supervisory staff are members of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management.
