The priorities and vision for Suffolk Coastal are laid out in
the Sustainable Community Strategy, which was drawn
up by the Suffolk Coastal Local Strategic Partnership and
adopted by the Council in December 2008
The vision of Suffolk Coastal in 2021 is that of it being
a place where people want to live and invest, to care for
others and the environment.
The Sustainable Community Strategy sets out an overall strategic
direction and long-term vision for the economic, social and
environmental well-being of the district and its communities.
The Council’s goal is to help realise this vision (working with
others as appropriate) by ensuring that Suffolk Coastal remains a
place where the community continues to enjoy the highest quality of
life and receive top quality efficient services.
To achieve this, we are focussing on a number of objectives
which drive both the delivery of services and management of
performance and resources.
This
