Councillor Savage represents the Council on the Citizens' Advice Bureau for Felixstowe, the Suffolk Local Government Association, the Felixstowe Drama Festival Management Committee, the Spa Pavilion Liaison Group, the Felixstowe Resort Regeneration Forum and Steering Group, the Felixstowe Town Centre Management Group, the Haven Ports Welfare Committee, the Suffolk Childrens' Trust Board and the Suffolk Coastal Local Strategic Partnership Board.

Councillor Savage is also a Felixstowe town councillor.
