Decisions taken by the Cabinet, individual Cabinet members or authorised officers are recorded on weekly decision notices. The decision notice identifies the decision taken, the reason for the decision, any alternatives considered and rejected, any relevant interests of members, any dispensations granted, and the implementation date for the decision.
Decisions published in a decision notice come into force and can be implemented after five clear working days from the date of publication. During these five days a decision can be 'called in'. Decision notices from the past six months are available below.
Reports supporting the decisions taken by the Cabinet are published with the agendas for Cabinet meetings (new window). Reports for decisions taken by individual Cabinet members or Council officers are published on the website before the decision is taken.
