Over the last few years Suffolk Coastal has been faced with a
period of unprecedented change and challenges during which the
Council has had to reorganise itself in the way it takes decisions
and run its services while receiving extra duties without the funds
to provide them.
More and greater efficiencies have had to be brought in to
tackle the financial pressures facing the Council caused by
external factors beyond our control. At the same time we have
committed ourselves to striving for excellence in the way we
provide our services.

Suffolk Coastal's first ever annual report contains key information

Performance monitoring
Quarterly performance reports give details of the Council’s

has performed across a wide range of services and includes targets

The 2006/07 survey of local residents satisfaction has put Suffolk
Coastal top in Suffolk for both its council and as an area in which
