Parking facilities are available across the district offering
visitors a choice of short or long-stay and there are plenty of
disabled spaces.
A weekly season ticket can be purchased at any of our
Tourist
Information Centres for £10, which allows parking at all of the
Council's long-stay car parks.
Suffolk Coastal allows 2 hours free parking in all car parks (in
any parking bay, not just the specially designated disabled parking
bays) when a valid Blue Badge is displayed.
Small motorised caravans (under 5.5 metres in length and 2
meters width) are treated in the same way as cars and can be parked
in most of our car parks. For larger motorised caravans
see below.
Please note that motorised caravans and caravans may not be used
for camping overnight in any of the sites owned or managed by the
Council.

Caravans and trailers are allowed at the following car
parks:
Aldeburgh: Slaughden Quay (free), Thorpe Road
(long stay pay and display).
Felixstowe: Dock Viewing Area (free), Eastwood Ho
(free), Landguard (Manor Terrace) (free).
Leiston: Sizewell Road (long stay pay and
display).
Sutton: Sutton Heath (free).
Woodbridge: Station Road (long stay pay and
display).
Motorised caravans over 5.5 metres
Motorised caravans over 5.5 metres in length and 2 meters width
may be parked at the following car parks (a ticket must be bought
for each bay occupied in pay and display car parks):
Aldeburgh: Slaughden Quay (free), Thorpe Road
(long stay pay and display).
Bawdsey: Bawdsey Quay Picnic Site (free).
Felixstowe: Clifflands (long stay pay and
display), Crescent Road (short stay pay and display), Dock Viewing
Area (free), Eastwood Ho (free), Landguard (Manor Terrace) (free),
Ranelagh Road (long stay pay and display).
Framlingham: The Elms (free).
Leiston: Valley Road (free), High Street (long
stay pay and display), Sizewell Road (long stay pay and
display).
Saxmundham: Church Street (short stay pay and
display).
Sizewell: Sizewell Beach (long stay pay and
display).
Sutton: Sutton Heath (free).
Wickham Market: The Hill Long Stay (long stay pay
and display).
Woodbridge: Station Rd (long stay pay and
display), The Avenue (long stay pay and display).
Coach parking
Coach parking is permitted at:
Aldeburgh: Fort Green in the designated coach
bays only (free 10am - 10pm).
Felixstowe: Eastwood Ho (free), Garrison Lane
Coach Park (free 10am - 10pm).
Woodbridge: Coach/Lorry park in Station Road (free
10am - 10pm).
