SpeakerListen to the text on this page

On 8 January 2008 Suffolk Coastal's Cabinet took the decision to proceed with the introduction of new car parking tariffs and formal notice of the Council’s intention to make a new car parking order was published. Following a period of public consultation, the official notice of making the new order was published on 15 February 2008.

The new order applies to all the public off-street car parks operated by the Council whether charges are levied for their use or use is free. It provides for the general management and operation of public car parks. Some car parks have amended tariffs and season ticket tariffs have been amended.

The order came into force on 1 April 2008.
