Emergency services

Police, Fire, Ambulance, Coastguard - dial 999 in an emergency.

Reporting crime and anti-social behaviour

Safer Neighbourhood Teams (new window) - contact details and website for your local team.

Crimestoppers (new window) - call 0800 555 111 anonymously with information about crime.

Anti-social behaviour - how to report anti-social behaviour, how to get help if you are a victim and information about our work with young people.

Racial Harassment Initiative (new window) - offers support for all sufferers of racial harassment. To report a racist incident call the free 24 hour helpline on 0800 138 1643. Messages can be left in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, Farsi, French, Kurdish, Polish, Portuguese and Turkish.

Report a problem to Suffolk Coastal - how to report abandoned vehicles, litter, rubbish, flytipping, noise, smoke, fumes, smells, stray and dangerous dogs.

Advice and information

Break the pattern (new window) - comprehensive information and advice on where and how to get help if you suffer domestic violence and abuse.

Police Direct (new window) - get up-to-date information about crime and policing issues in your area direct to your computer, mobile phone or landline.

Suffolk Drug and Alcohol Action Team (new window) - helpline 01473 299640 (available 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday), help and advice if you are worried about your drug or alcohol use, or that of a friend or relative.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (new window) - fire safety advice.

Safe and Sound (new window) - website for the older and more vulnerable members of our communities. Contains information about dealing with bogus callers and doorstep security.

Respect (new window) - Government website with information about supporting communities and tackling anti social behaviour.

Community services

Community personal alarm and telecare services - details the personal alarm, emergency response and telecare services available in the district.

Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch (new window)

Suffolk SafeKey (new window) - keyholder service set up by Suffolk Police, which is available to all business and residential properties in Suffolk whether they are fitted with an alarm or not.
