Safer Neighbourhood Teams were
introduced in Suffolk in 2007 as a new approach to policing,
with councils, community partners and volunteers working
alongside police officers and police staff.
Following a review, some Safer Neighbourhood Teams have been
merged into larger geographical areas, meaning a reduction from 47
to 30 teams. This reorganisation has had no overall effect on the
number of police officers and police community support officers in
frontline policing.
Suffolk Coastal is now served by 5 teams - details
of the parishes they cover are given below. You can
