Suffolk crime statistics

Suffolk County Council's community safety unit publish an online summary of crime related statistics for Suffolk. The information included has been recently expanded to include statistics about anti-social behaviour, domestic violence and ambulance call-outs.

The crime related data is based on offences and incidents recorded by Suffolk Police (new window). The crime summary shows monthly levels in each district for the following types of crime:

  • Arson
  • Burglary
  • Assault
  • Criminal damage
  • Fraud and forgery
  • Robbery
  • Drugs offences
  • Theft
  • Vehicle crime
  • Sexual offences

The anti-social behaviour summary shows the levels of the following types of incidents:

  • Vehicle related nuisance
  • Malicious communications
  • Rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour
  • Environmental damage and littering
  • Neighbour nuisance
  • Abandoned vehicles
  • Street drinking
  • Prostitution
  • Substance misuse
  • Hoax calls to emergency services
