Development Control relates to proposals for new buildings,
external alterations to existing buildings, changes of use of
buildings or land and other engineering operations on
land. These activities often require permission, normally in
the form of planning permission, advertisement consent and or
listed building consent. Development Control is a statutory Council
function which is carried out by Suffolk Coastal's Development
Control service.
