Public register of contaminated land

This register only contains details of sites determined as 'contaminated land' as defined by Section 78A (2) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. It does not contain details of potential contaminated sites or sites suspected to have contaminants in, on, or under them as a result of past uses. For details of such specific sites (potential contaminated sites or sites with former contaminative use), please apply through the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Contaminated land strategy

Suffolk Coastal's contaminated land strategy sets out how the Council approaches the identification of contaminated land within the district as required by the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
