Come and enjoy a ‘right royal weekend’ - celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee from Friday 1 to Saturday 9 June, with a range of exciting events and activities at the seaside resort of Felixstowe - for details see the Jubilee events guide (new window PDF 205KB).

The Triangle canopy

The Felixstowe Triangle canopy is the ideal space to hold community and corporate events. It you are interested in using the space please contact Felixstowe Futures to discuss availability by calling 01394 444576 or emailing felixstowe.futures@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk.

See below for dates of events planned on the Triangle during 2012:

  • 4 May - Colneis Flower Club event

  • 5 May - May Day Fun Day - games, stalls and music on the Triangle and Hamilton Road

  • 16 May - Salvation Army brass band concert (performance by visiting band from Stockholm) - 2.30pm to 4.30pm

  • 24 June - Felixstowe Motorcycle Show - all day until 4pm

  • 30 June - Salvation Army brass band concert - 10.30am to 12 noon

  • 2 July - Salvation Army celebrate founders day

  • 5 July - Felixstowe Olympic Torch celebrations (tbc)

  • 5, 12, 19 & 26 July - Ipswich Over 50's brass band - 2pm to 4pm

  • 22 December - Salvation Army Christmas Carols - 10am to 12noon.

The Salvation Army have a regular booking to their band practice at the Triangle every Sunday from 12 noon until 12.30pm, weather permitting.

Outreach at the Triangle - Saturdays, 10.30am to 12.30pm (when no major events are taking place at the Canopy), free Christian literature and representatives from the Bethesda Baptist Church, Felixstowe are available for one-to-one conversations with those wishing to talk.
