The natural green spaces managed by Suffolk Coastal are some of
the finest in Britain. With ancient heaths, shingle beaches,
deciduous woodlands, working farmland and flower rich meadows.
Our countryside - as well as our parks, gardens and wealth of
urban green spaces - makes Suffolk Coastal a wonderful place to
live.
Since this region is blessed with so many open spaces, there’s
always plenty to do. This means it’s difficult achieve everything
that is necessary to keep the areas perfect for visitors and
wildlife - especially with the limited resources available to local
councils today.
Being part of our Footprints campaign is a rewarding way to
enhance your local environment and leave a lasting legacy. There
are opportunities for you or your business to offer sponsorship,
make a donation or volunteer your time or skills to work with
us.
There is so much more that we can do with a little extra
help!
Why not become part of Footprints?
Footprints will help us to protect and enhance hundreds of acres
of landscape - from our world-renowned heathland to our local
village greens. It will also ensure Suffolk’s rich variety of
wildlife has a home for many years to come. With your contributions
of time, equipment or money you will be:
- Helping to protect what we have inherited from the past.
Giving support to what
we are doing at present.
- Joining us in creating new opportunities for the
future.
