Launched in 2007 and a priority in
Suffolk’s Community Strategy (new window),
Creating the Greenest County involves a range of organisations,
including councils, businesses, schools and communities, all
working together to help make Suffolk the Greenest
County.
The Creating the Greenest County partnership has three key
themes:
- Climate mitigation
- Climate adaptation
- Protect and enhancing the natural environment
Which it wants to achieve through:
- Tackling climate change and its effects
- Engaging with communities and businesses in Suffolk
- Enhancing Suffolk’s landscape, biodiversity and historic
environment
- Promoting and supporting local food and drink
production
