Document sections
Please note - immediately following publication
of the Core Strategy Preferred Options document it was discovered
that a typesetting error had occurred at paragraph 3.46. The bullet
points listed should have read as disadvantages associated with the
Preferred Option and the explanatory text for the option was
missing. The wording and layout were corrected and the document
updated on the website. Anyone known to have been sent a document
during the consultation period prior to the update was notified of
the change. The consultation deadline was also extended to 20
February 2009 to allow for any inconvenience this may have
caused.
Sustainability Appraisal
The Core Strategy Preferred Options document is accompanied by a
Sustainability Appraisal report, which sets out how well the
objectives and policies contribute towards the national policy of
sustainable development. This document also contains the EU
Habitats Regulations Screening & Scoping assessment:

Copies of the Core Strategy Preferred Options document and
Sustainability Appraisal report are available for inspection at the
Planning Help Desk at the
Council's offices at Melton Hill, Woodbridge.
The documents can be made available in large print and other
formats on request.
