Exploring everyday experiences at different times in our lives,
a short projection has been created by children from Woodbridge
Primary School and slightly older people from the New Horizon Club
in Woodbridge.
The participants met over school dinners to stimulate the taste
buds and memory sensors and worked with poet Michael Laskey and
photographer James Fletcher to capture their experiences of growing
up and growing old.
The result is a series of poems read by participants,
accompanied by evocative images in two 'film shorts'. These
were launched at the Riverside Cinema in Woodbridge to an audience
of over 70 and followed by tea, cake, ices and lots of chat and
applause!
The projections were then shown over 6 days, prior to the main
film. Further requests have been received to show the film short by
local film clubs.
