The Suffolk Coastal Arts Network
(SCAN) is an initiative from Suffolk Coastal ARTS to help us
strengthen our links with the local arts and heritage scene.
What are the benefits?
- A bi-annual newsletter, available by email (or
post for members without email).
- A monthly email bulletin of arts events and
opportunities to those members who request it and send us a current
email address. We receive notice of events, funding programmes,
training initiatives or arts opportunities. By registering for this
service, you will hear about these opportunities soon after we
do.
- A directory of local arts and heritage
organisations and individual artists, and of groups and venues keen
to work with them - follow this link to
see the current edition.
- A heritage network, with bi-annual networking
and training sessions.
- An annual forum, with guest speakers, offering
opportunity to debate current arts issues and extend your
networks.
- A training and development bursary scheme, for
voluntary arts groups and individual artists, based within the
Suffolk Coastal district.
- An advice service, offering advice on where
and how to access funding for arts projects.
Who can join?
Any professional, voluntary or community arts organisation, and
individuals working in any art form, who are either based in the
Suffolk Coastal district or regularly work here. The network is
also open to representatives of other community organisations keen
to make links with local artists and arts groups. Just print out
and complete the
SCAN registration form (new window PDF
