Felixstowe, Leiston and Woodbridge which are managed by DC Leisure

Free squash and racketball coaching!
5 week courses starting Monday 12 April 2010 at Brackenbury
Sports Centre, Felixstowe:
- Over 50’s racketball sessions - 3 to 4pm.
- Junior (ages 8-12) racketball and squash - 4 to 5pm.
- Adult squash and racketball session - 5.20pm to
6.20pm.

Regular users of the Council's leisure facilities can take
advantage of discounts and other benefits if they hold a
Coastal Card.
Free swimming for older people
People aged 60 and over
can register for free swimming at Felixstowe Leisure Centre,
Deben Swimming Pool or Leiston Leisure Centre as part of a
government-backed scheme to promote fitness. People who
register will be given a free swimming card, entitling them to
swim for free at these facilities. The scheme is set to run
until March 2011.

Felixstowe Leisure Centre
For fun, frolics, and a great
family time, visit the leisure centre on the seafront in
Felixstowe. It has a main 25 metre pool, fun pool with beach
area, flume and toddler pool. Other facilities include a
health suite, an indoor bowls rink and catering facilities to
suit all tastes. The Kinetika gym, with fantastic
sea views, has state of the art fitness equipment and
offers a variety of personal programmes. A fantastic soft play
area called Funtasia and a self-contained creche provide ample
opportunities for youngsters to let off steam. A great place
for a great time.

Brackenbury Sports Centre - Felixstowe
Also situated in
Felixstowe, Brackenbury Sports Centre offers dry sports
facilities for all skill levels from the complete beginner to
the more experienced player. It has outdoor tennis courts and
five-a-side pitches, indoor badminton and squash courts,
activity room and a creche where your children can burn up
their energy, whilst you burn up yours!
The sports centre also offers a wide range of courses for all
ages including trampolining, gymnastics, tennis and basketball.
Children's birthday parties can also be organised by centre staff.
Hirings from clubs and individuals are welcome.

Deben Swimming Pool - Woodbridge
Deben Swimming Pool in Woodbridge
is a community based 25 metre pool suitable for the more
sedate swimmer, although this doesn't stop youngsters having a
great time during the regular fun sessions that are on offer.
Swimming lessons are also available with tuition provided by
fully qualified staff. The complex also offers a sauna and
Kinetika gym and adjacent floodlit tennis courts can also be
booked at the centre.

Leiston Leisure Centre
Situated in the north of
the district, Leiston Leisure Centre offers facilities that
cater for all your sport and leisure requirements. There is a
25 metre pool with an adjoining toddler pool and slide. Close
by are sunbeds, a steam room and a sauna.
The large sports hall offers badminton, five-a-side football,
basketball and a wide range of other sports. Fun sports sessions
for youngsters are arranged at regular intervals and the hall can
also be booked for social events.
An outdoor all weather area offers tennis, five-a-side and
basketball. The small activity hall offers a range of activities
including aerobics and martial arts and is available for private
hire.
A wide range of courses and sessions across a variety of
activities are available for all age groups including the Piglets
Play Farm, a soft play and creche area where youngsters can be
entertained, whilst you enjoy the Kinetika gym which is
situated nearby.
