News release 20 March 2013: Cabinet facing important decisions on Spa - Fifteen months after first seeking someone with a viable sustainable business plan to take on Felixstowe's Spa Pavilion, Suffolk Coastal’s Cabinet is being urged to consider relaxing the restrictions on its future use and be more specific about what it sees as the way forward.
News release 28 February 2013: Experts and Council agree to reject bids for Spa - The two formal bids on the table for consideration for the future running of the Spa Pavilion have both been rejected and the hunt will continue to find someone with viable plans for a long-term use of the Felixstowe landmark site.
The Spa Pavilion Theatre closed on 6 January 2013.
