The Suffolk Coastal Sports Awards
are a way of recognising our local sports people and
organisations for their achievements and contribution to
sport.
The 2009 awards ceremony took place on Sunday 6
September 2009 at the Spa Pavilion Theatre,
Felixstowe.
This was the third year of the annual awards promoted by the
Coastal Sports Alliance.
There is a wealth of talent in our district and these awards are
an excellent opportunity for them to be put in the spotlight, along
with those individuals or organisations who are helping to develop
and promote sport. In order to qualify, nominees have to reside in
the Suffolk Coastal district or the club they are involved with
must be based within the district.

Winners of the Suffolk Coastal awards automatically feed through
to the
Suffolk Sports Awards (new window), which
progress on to the BBC East & Sport England Awards and
beyond to the televised national sports awards.
