This year's summer activities
programme put together by Suffolk Coastal's Active Communities
team offers a range of fun courses and activities for 6 to 15
year olds throughout the summer holidays.

Fishing
Back by popular demand - a chance
for young anglers to improve their fishing knowledge and learn
new skills from qualified coaches. Sessions are open to
anglers with limited experience and those who fish regularly.
If you are aged 12 and over you must have a fishing licence
which you can get from your local Post Office. To book a
session please complete and return a booking form to
us with your payment.
- Aimed at 8 years and over.
- Cost: £12.50 per person with a
Coastal Card (£15.00 without).
- Dates: 4 to 29 August, 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm.
- Venue: Manor Farm Fishery, Swilland IP6 9LB.
Football
Qualified FA coaches will be on
hand to help you develop your football skills, techniques and
ability. No need to book in advance, just turn up on the day
with your money and completed booking form.
- Aimed at 6 years and older.
- Cost: £4 per session.
- Dates: various between 4 and 29 August (see programme for

- Venues: Otley, Kirton, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Rendlesham,

Mobile Skate Park
This summer the mobile skate park
is back providing a safe and enjoyable environment in which to
skate, bike and blade that will be supervised at all times.
Beginners will also have the opportunity to get some basic
coaching in skateboarding to help them learn and progress
safely. You will be able to borrow skateboards, helmets and
pads or you can bring your own equipment but you must wear a
helmet at all times. No need to book in advance, just turn up
on the day with your money and completed booking form. Please
call 07776 227407 if the weather is poor to check if the
skatepark is running.
- Aimed at 8 years and older.
- Cost: £1 per hour or £6 per day.

Dance
Dance the time away on our
fantastic new dance mats - simply step yourself into fun and
fitness with our easy to use equipment. No need to book in
advance, just turn up on the day with your money and completed
booking form.

Playscheme
These are fun packed sessions of
activities ranging from painting, junk funk and dough
modelling to team games, dodgeball, rounders and tag-rugby. No
need to book in advance, just turn up on the day with your
money and completed booking form.
