Suffolk Coastal Business & Community Awards 2015 - your chance to nominate the people, groups and businesses you feel have a positive impact on your community - opens for entries on Sunday 5 October.

Poppy Run, Rendlesham Forest - run, jog, or walk around the five kilometre route on 26 October and help raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Adult entry is £15, under 16 and over 60 is £10, which includes a Poppy Run t-shirt. The fun run starts at 11am. Enter online or download an application form (PDF 1.44MB).

Get into running at Rendlesham - Ever fancied giving running a go, but not had the confidence, people to do it with or level of fitness? Calling all 'Community Champions' - the Rural Coffee Caravan Information Project is holding an event addressing loneliness and isolation in the Suffolk Coastal district. ‘Community Champions’ are invited to come along to open a debate on the issue locally as part of the wider national Campaign to End Loneliness. The day will run from 11am - 3pm at Hacheston Village Hall on Friday, 7 November and will include lunch and refreshments.
