'Art Inspired' - an exhibition by the Heritage Quilters - Saturday and Sunday 16 and 17 May, new exhibition of the quilts, wall hangings, furnishings and textile art with demonstrations taking place throughout the two days. Suffolk Fire Ride 2015 - a brand new cycle event is being held by Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service in line with the county initiative - Suffolk's Year of Cycling 2015-16. Starting at Eye Fire Station, Lambseth Road, Eye IP23 7AQ, on Sunday 5 July 2015, it offers three distances of 30, 60 and 100 miles. The Suffolk Fire Ride is a friendly cycle sportif suitable for all levels of riders. Free all day parking has been made available for all participants at two local locations. Ipswich Cycling Weekend and the Crafted Classique sportive - the Crafted Classique sportive returns to Ipswich waterfront on Saturday 22 August – this year there is a brand new 55km route through the stunning Suffolk countryside to tempt those looking to take on their first sportive, as well as 100km or 100 miles routes (taking in Aldeburgh, Orford and Leiston). Early-bird entry is £20 online before 12 April (£25 afterwards and £30 on the day).
