your application and notified you of your benefit claim you can

Use our online service to claim for Housing Benefit
and or Council Tax Benefit.

This service is available to all Housing Benefit and Council Tax
Benefit customers and landlords who receive direct payments of
Housing Benefit. Follow the instructions below to register.
To view your benefit claim details you will need your benefit
claim reference number which can be found on your notification
letter and a personal identification number (PIN), which you
request when you register to use the service. Your PIN is then sent
to you by post. When you receive your PIN you can start using the
service to view information relating to your benefit claim.

Please note - If your benefit claim ends with
an X enter it as a capital X.
Once you have logged in you will be able to view details of how
your benefit has been calculated, the payments sent to you or your
landlord and copies of correspondence we have sent you.

to protect your personal details when they are transmitted over the
Internet.
Changes of circumstances and making payments
You must tell us of any changes in your circumstances by calling

benefits@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk.

You can use our
online and automated telephone payment services
to make a repayment on a Housing Benefit overpayment by
debit or credit card. Please have your Housing Benefit invoice to
hand as you will be asked for the account number on the bill.
