If you would like to view and manage your Council Tax account
online you can register to use our online service - this service is
available to all Suffolk Coastal Council Tax payers, just follow
the instructions below.
We also offer an online search facility anyone can use to find
out the Council Tax bands of domestic properties in the district
and the associated Council Tax charges. You do not have to register
to use this service, just follow the link below.

View and manage your Council Tax account online
To view your account details you will need your Council Tax
account number, which can be found on your bill and a personal
identification number (PIN), which you request when you register to
use the service. Your PIN is then sent to you by post. When you
receive your PIN you can start using the service to view
information relating to your account.
First time users - you must register to use the
service and request a PIN:

Please note - If your Council Tax account number ends with
an X enter it as a capital X.
Once you have logged in you will be able to view details of how
your Council Tax bill has been calculated; see any payments you
have made and any balances outstanding; see current instalments due
and copies of any bills and notices we have sent you.
We value your privacy and security, so we use 128-bit encryption
to protect your personal details when they are transmitted over the
Internet.
Sign-up to get your Council Tax bills online
We can also offer you the facility to have your Council Tax
bills issued electronically. Each time a new or amended bill is
generated you will be sent an email advising you that a new bill is
available for you to view online - just follow the link in the
email to go to your new bill.
You can subscribe to this service once you have registered to
use our Council Tax online service and you have received your PIN.

page.

the district, have moved house or if there are any changes in
your circumstances. You can also apply for Council Tax discounts
and exemptions.
