Saving energy saves you money and it also benefits all of us by
cutting down on the carbon emissions and
pollution caused whenever we use energy derived from fossil
fuels.
Suffolk Coastal is committed to improving energy efficiency in
homes so we work in partnership with a range of organisations on
energy efficiency initiatives.
The Eastern Carbon Reduction
Initiative has been developed to give homeowners and
tenants alike affordable loft and cavity wall insulation
installed by approved contractors using the grant
aid available in the energy market place. Having
insulation installed may be free if you
qualify as a priority group customer or cost
as little as £149 otherwise.
Why not spend a few minutes completing a home energy check on
the
Energy Saving Trust’s website (new window)
and you'll receive an impartial personalised report showing you
how much energy and money you can save in your home.
