Dog fouling

Responsible dog owners clear up after their dogs and dispose of the waste either at home, or in one of the many waste bins provided throughout the district.

You can report any dog fouling problems or damage to dog waste bins to Suffolk Coastal Services by calling 01394 444000 or email scsltd@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk.

Inconsiderate dog owners could face a fixed penalty fine of £80, or a fine of up to £1,000 if there is a conviction in the Courts.

Dog restrictions on beaches

Seasonal dog restrictions apply to clearly signposted areas of beach at Felixstowe, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness between 1 May and 30 September each year.
