Landlord liaison
Over 5,000 people in the Suffolk Coastal district are entitled
to Housing Benefit which helps pay some or all of their rent. It
is, therefore, essential that there is a regular exchange of
information between our Benefits Team and the many individual and
corporate landlords regarding the rent and service charges that
their tenants are liable to pay.
We make regular liaison visits to landlords to discuss the
latest news about Housing Benefit and how we can help.
We also provide landlords with a specific contact point for
discussing any difficulties or problems regarding a particular
property or tenancy - that contact point is Sarah Hyman our
Landlord Liaison Officer, who you can contact on 01394
444466 or by emailing
sarah.hyman@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk.
