Very sheltered housing

Very sheltered housing is a particular type of retirement housing which is especially designed for people who need some level of day to day help with either personal or practical tasks.

If you want to maintain an independent lifestyle, but require regular help with some tasks, this may be for you - it is not the same as a residential care home. Often to be eligible you will need to be referred by your local authority social care services.

For help and advice call Suffolk Coastal's Housing Options Team on 01394 444237 or email homelessness@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk.
