A local land charges search usually consists of two forms - the
LLC1 (Local Land Charges 1) form and the CON 29 (Conveyancing 29)
form. The LLC1 form gives details of entries we have in the local
land charges register for the property.
The CON 29 form contains a list of standard questions about the
property and the area, and is divided into two parts - 'Required'
questions and 'Optional' questions.
Below is the main information that will be shown on the replies
to your local land charges search.
LLC1 and CON 29 'Required' forms

- Outstanding financial charges owed to the Council for works
carried out on the property.
- Other documents issued by the Council that affect the property
such as legal agreements, housing grants or certain environmental

Council's local list of buildings of special historical or
architectural interest.
