If your town or parish council, school, or any other local community group would like to organise a litter pick to help improve your local environment, then Suffolk Coastal's Spring Clean scheme can help. Suffolk Coastal provides free disposable rubber gloves, and sacks in which to collect litter, and will arrange to collect and dispose of the rubbish collected.

Though it's called Spring Clean, litter picks can be carried out at any time of the year.

In 2007 the Spring Clean campaign saw a record 2,600 sacks of rubbish collected and filled by 1,900 volunteers. 52 groups organised events in 39 parishes, highlighting a great commitment to keeping the environment clean.

If your group is organising a litter pick and would like this assistance, please complete the online registration form.
